Great British Duck Race - fundraiser 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I know up here in the frozen North we are well known for our pigeon racing. The WSPA have come up with a great twist to bird racing with a fundraising race of yellow rubber duckys! here is the info they sent me through Facebook.

Support them if you can

On Sunday 31st August, 250,000 plastic yellow ducks will take to the River Thames for a 1km race and an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest charity duck race in the world.

It is just £5 to adopt a duck, £3 of which will be donated to WSPA. There are 30 top prizes, and the first prize is a whopping £10,000.

To adopt your duck go to: http://www.thegreatbritishduckrace.co.uk/charitypage.php?charity=608

Adopt a duck today! Be a record breaker and join in the fun.
